Meet Tracy Dearing – home equity payment winner!

With a 35-year career in bookkeeping and her own business, you know member Tracy Dearing has a flair for tracking money. Lucky for her, she’ll have more of her own money to track as the Home Equity Payment winner in Columbia’s Payment Free promotion!

From June to December last year, members who opened or refinanced a qualifying mortgage, home equity or auto loan were entered to win their loan payments. Tracy opened a Columbia home equity line of credit and wound up winning her loan payments for an entire year!

“I was so surprised to win,” said Tracy. “I really like using my home equity line of credit. We’ve used it for all sorts of purchases and for landscaping projects. It’s just so convenient!”

Tracy and her husband Dan are long-time members who enjoy Columbia’s convenience and “personalized service.” The couple holds a variety of Columbia products including IRA and regular savings, checking, money market and certificates. When she isn’t making time for family, working or helping at her church, she enjoys movies, reading, camping and travel.
