Area credit unions banded together to raise $43,000 at the Credit Unions for Kids "Wine on the Willamette" fundraiser. Sponsored in part by Columbia Credit Union, the funds will be used to support the Credit Unions for Kids pediatric neurosciences program at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
The Credit Unions for Kids program is a grassroots fundraising effort involving more than 100 credit unions throughout the region. To date, more than $8 million has been raised to fund projects at Doernbecher through a variety of fundraising activities.
