Columbia supports Dictionary Donation Project
Columbia has once again joined with the Clark County Rotary to support the annual Dictionary Donation Project. About 6,000 dictionaries, complete with book plates and book marks, are being distributed to third graders in all Clark County school districts.
CEO Steve Kenny hands out dictionaries at Fishers Landing Elementary
To kick-off the project, Columbia officials and Rotary representatives recently gathered at Fishers Landing Elementary to present dictionaries in a special assembly.
As a sponsor Columbia funded the purchase of the dictionaries and provided the book plates and book marks. Columbia staff also assisted Rotary volunteers with dictionary preparation and distribution to the schools. Dedicated to improving the quality of life in our branch communities, Columbia is pleased to serve the needs of children and promote education.
