James Fitzgerald, Stop Hunger Warehouse Manager, and Laurie Kusch, Columbia's SVP Quality Service and Chief Community Ambassador, unload donations at the Clark County Food Bank.
Thanks to the generosity of Columbia members and staff, the shelves are a whole lot fuller at the Clark County Food Bank (CCFB). A total of 3,851 pounds were collected in Columbia branches and administrative offices throughout December to benefit the needy throughout Clark County.
“These are amazing results!” said Stop Hunger Warehouse Manager James Fitzgerald. “It gives us a boost until the next food drive in May.” Columbia’s donation will be boxed and distributed to 15 local area food banks.
“We had more members participate this year,” commented Columbia Senior Vice President Quality Service and Chief Community Ambassador, Laurie Kusch. “It means more meals will be provided to more families in these difficult times.”
Columbia Credit Union is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the families living and working in our branch communities. Our heartfelt thanks go to members and staff who generously donated to make 2010 brighter for those in need.
