April 2010 — Loaves & Fishes raised $130,000 at their annual Clark County luncheon to benefit area senior citizens. Columbia was pleased to be a sponsor of this event to support Loaves & Fishes in their mission to ensure that no senior goes hungry or experiences social isolation.
Loaves & Fishes has enriched the lives of local seniors since 1970, and this year marks their 40th Anniversary. Today, there are 2,700 regular Meals on Wheels recipients in Clark County and that number is expected to increase 15 percent this year and double by 2020.
