Through the generous support of sponsors, business, and individuals, the Humane Society raised over $1.2 million at their annual dinner and auction, "A Place in Your Heart." Proceeds from the event will go toward paying the balance of a loan that helped finance the completion of the Society's new animal shelter which opened in 2009.
Over the past five years, more than 60,000 homeless and abused animals have received care at the shelter. Columbia is pleased be a sponsor of this event to support the Humane Society for Southwest Washington and their programs to end animal homelessness in our community.
