Columbia is holding a donation drive to help local families this holiday season. The public is invited to join us in supporting Share, which serves the hungry and homeless and The Children’s Center, which provides mental health services for children.

It’s the season for IRA savings
If you’re wrapping up your finances for the year and haven’t contributed to your Traditional or Roth IRA yet, remember you have until April 15, 2011 to do so. For the 2010 tax year, you can contribute up to $5,000; if you are over age 50 you may make an additional $1,000 catch up contribution.
