Board appointment and Volunteer election on horizon
Join us in thanking Duane Bequette and Dexter Garey for their service as Volunteer Board Directors. On March 18 Duane resigned from the Board and in his absence, Vice Chair Chuck McDonald is Acting Chair. Duane’s term expires in 2010, and per Columbia Credit Union Bylaws, unexpired terms are filled by Board appointment.
Effective April 16, Dexter resigned from the Board, and since his term expires this year, this position will be filled when the newly elected Directors are announced at our July 28 Annual Meeting.
The Board Nominating Committee files the 2008 Volunteer nominations with the Board Secretary on April 29. Voter’s Pamphlets and ballots will be mailed July 1, and the deadline to vote is 5 p.m., July 24.
