My Community Mortgage Program
This Fannie Mae sponsored program is ideal for first-time home buyers with limited savings for their down
payment and closing costs.
To be eligible members must meet Fannie Mae's Area Median Income limits.
- Up to a 40-year term available
- Gifts from family members and/or grants from non-profits,
government agencies and employers allowed for a portion of the down payment and closing costs
- First-time home buyer counseling required
FHA Loans
While FHA-insured loans are open to anyone, they're especially beneficial for first-time home buyers.
- Down payments as low as 3.5 percent of your purchase price
- Gift funds accepted for 100 percent of the down payment (relatives can help you!)
- 30-year fixed term
- Flexible qualifications
