Card scam reported

Fraudulent calls target members

Customers of area banks, including members of Columbia Credit Union, are reporting phishing attempts (fraudulent phone calls) where the fraudster says your card is blocked/frozen and then ask you to verify the card number and expiration date to re-activate it. Neither Columbia Credit Union nor its third party monitoring company would ask you to verify this information over the phone. If you responded to a fraudulent call's request, you're encouraged to contact us as soon as possible.
