Email Notifications
Receive email notices to inform you when the balance on your account reaches a certain level or when your Columbia certificate accounts are maturing.
Email notifications save you time by eliminating the need to constantly check balances.
Get Started:
To set up email notifications, login to your online banking account and select the "Notifications" link under the "Account Access" tab.
Money management tips for email alerts

Cell phone alert: Want your alerts to come to your cell phone? Many carriers assign email addresses for each phone number. Contact your carrier to see if your phone has an email address and then set up your alert to deliver to that address instead of your personal email.

Low balance alert: Schedule notifications to be sent when your checking account reaches $100 (or some other customizable amount), so you know to transfer funds or limit spending. Note: notifications are not sent in real time. You will receive an email the morning after the designated balance is reached.
- Daily balance alert: If you want to receive daily emails with your account balance, here's a tip: simply set the alert balance really high — greater than what you'd normally keep in the account.
- Time to earn more dividends: Schedule notifications to be sent when your savings reaches $1,500, so you can transfer funds into a money market and earn higher dividends.
- Set a savings goal: Schedule a notification to be sent when your money market reaches $2,560: the exact amount for that dining room set you've been saving for...or whatever your savings goal may be.
- Certificate maturity alert: Schedule notifications to be sent just prior to your certificate's maturity date, so you can add funds or reinvest in a different account.
- Check clears: Schedule a notification to be sent after a specified check number has cleared.
