Columbia Credit Union makes it a priority to support the neighborhoods they serve. In celebration of the Scotton Landing branch’s opening, Columbia Credit Union is holding a $25K Community Giveaway to benefit non-profit organizations that make life better. People are encouraged to visit the Scotton Landing branch between Aug. 13 and Sept. 15, 2018, and vote for one of the following five non-profit organizations: Battle Ground Education Foundation, Battle Ground Health Care, Clark County Children’s Center, Clark-Skamania Flyfishers or Re-TURN. Every vote is worth a $10 donation from Columbia Credit Union to the organization (maximum $5,000).
In addition, visitors to the Scotton Landing branch are invited to help select the winner of Columbia Credit Union’s Beauty of Battle Ground Photo Contest by voting for their favorite of five finalist photos from local photographers. The winning photo will be featured as a wall mural inside the Scotton Landing branch.
Fasten your seatbelts! Each vote cast through Aug. 25, 2018, for Columbia Credit Union’s $25K Community Giveaway and Beauty of Battle Ground Photo Contest, will earn an automatic entry to win a pair of 3-day reserved grandstand seats at the Grand Prix of Portland at the Portland International Raceway on Friday, Aug. 31, through Sunday, Sept. 2. A total of 10 winners will be selected.
For one day only, on Saturday, Sept. 8, voters will have the opportunity to win a GoPro camera and meet the Beauty of Battle Ground Photo Contest’s finalist photographers.
“Battle Ground is growing and so is Columbia Credit Union,” said Columbia Credit Union President and CEO Steve Kenny. “We are excited to open our 14th branch and are committed to providing our members with outstanding service – whether they visit us in person or make use of our online and mobile banking. As a modern financial institution, we’re here to make life better for our members and the communities we serve.”
Gayle Smith, vice president branch manager for Columbia Credit Union’s Battle Ground Fred Meyer branch, will also manage the Scotton Landing branch. “I’m enthusiastic about overseeing the operations and service delivery at our newest branch,” said Smith. “For the past four years I’ve been active in this community. I’m sure our members will appreciate the convenience of being served by an additional branch in another key shopping and dining hub of the Battle Ground community.”
