What you need to know:
The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of December 27, 2020, authorizes additional Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) to be made by the IRS by January 15, 2021. To qualify for the full stimulus payment, recipients must have earned less than $75k (for individuals) or $150k (for married/joint filers) in 2019. If adjusted gross income is higher than those thresholds, then the stimulus payment is reduced by $5 for every $100 of adjusted gross income over those thresholds.
