Service Manager (Asst.to Branch Manager) – PORTLAND
We’re looking for an engaged and progressive professional to support our team at the Portland Buckman Branch! We are seeking an individual who is excited to work closely with the Branch Manager to develop and maintain a cohesive team of employees who meet or exceed the credit union’s expectations for sales, member service and all aspects of branch operations. Because people are our biggest asset, allowing us to earn our members’ trust, knowledge of laws and regulations around deposits, lending, and people management is required.
Position responsibilities include staff coaching and development while supervising the efficient operation of the branch. The Service Manager performs the duties of a Member Service Associate and Financial Service Representative as needed in addition to monitoring; the work of branch staff, audit compliance, and branch security, while actively assisting the manager achieve branch growth and profitability. We are looking for someone with a positive demeanor, proven leadership abilities, solid product knowledge, while consistently demonstrating excellent member service skills.
This position requires previous supervisory or management experience. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred. Required to have a thorough understanding of all banking regulations including: Regulation CC, D, E, Truth in Savings, Financial Privacy, Currency Transaction Reporting requirements and Bank Secrecy Act. Requires NMLS MLO registration. Requires availability Monday through Friday 8:30 to 6:30 and half days on Saturday.
