McKibbin Legacy Classic
Coming out swinging.
The first four years of this tournament have been extremely successful because of the outstanding support of our sponsors, donors, players, and volunteers. Taking advantage of the spacious and open venue the Camas Meadows Golf Club provides throughout the property, our goal is to once again carry out a safe, enjoyable, and engaging community event for all of our players, sponsors, and volunteers—all for a good cause.
To keep everyone safe and healthy through the continuing COVID pandemic, Camas Meadows requires tee time starts for all players rather than a shotgun start. Tee times will be assigned for players throughout the day of this tournament:
- 18 holes per round
- 1 group per hole
- 4 golfers per group

Honoring the legacy of John McKibbin
John McKibbin was a special presence in Clark County throughout his life, raising funds for causes important to him and making life better for the community at every turn. This tournament honors his legacy by continuing that same spirit of enthusiastic charity.
The first four years have been extremely successful because of the outstanding support of our sponsors, donors, players, and volunteers. On Thursday, August 26, we’ll again pay tribute to John McKibbin by supporting three organizations he loved throughout his years of community service, and in which Columbia Credit Union has continiously invested over the years: Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center’s Child Abuse Assessment (CAAT) Endowment Fund, Pearson Field Education Center (PFEC), and Leadership Clark County (LCC).
Organizations Benefiting from the Tournament:
Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center
Caring for children is a community responsibility. The Child Abuse Assessment Team (CAAT) at Legacy Salmon Creek cooperates with local child protection agencies and law enforcement agencies as well as with YWCA advocates to deliver compassionate, discrete, and knowledgeable child abuse and neglect services.
Pearson Field Education Center
Through aviation, the Pearson Field Education Center inspires youth to pursue educations and careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields, while instilling an appreciation for the people, events, and innovations of historic Pearson Field.
Leadership Clark County
Founded in 1993 by a group of community leaders, Leadership Clark County is a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic leadership program dedicated educating people about the challenges facing our community and developing community leaders to meet those challenges.
