WELCOME FUTURE CEOS

Lemonade Day with Columbia Credit Union – Join Us!

Lemonade Day is a free experiential, educational program powered by the Greater Vancouver Chamber that takes kids age 9-12 on an entrepreneurial journey—teaching them everything they need to know to open their very own business! Participants learn how to create budgets, set profit-making goals, serve customers, repay investors, and give back to the community. All guided by Columbia Credit Union teachers and mentors.

Everything starts with the Lemonade Day App and signing up to join our team. Once the course is complete, our kid CEOs will have the opportunity to get a micro loan from Columbia CU to fund their small business expenses, earn $5 to put into a Spend Checking account, and can apply to sell their handmade products or services on Junior Market Day at the Vancouver Farmers Market.

Meet Brielle

After a successful day of sales at the Junior Market on June 3rd, Brielle, owner of Brielle’s Marvelous Candles, was named the Vancouver Youth Entrepreneurs of the Year (2023).

This year scoring was based on the business plan, pitch, revenue, product presentation, and overall implementation of what they learned from the Lemonade Day Lessons.

Congratulations, Brielle!
