Columbia Credit Union Donates $16,000 to Veterans Groups

With the season of giving in full swing, Columbia Credit Union presented donations to two veterans groups—Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC) and Returning Veterans Project—with checks for $8,000 each. The credit union has a long track record of supporting local vets, donating a total of $172,700 over the past nine years to nonprofits serving those who have served the country.

“Columbia Credit Union is honored to donate to these great organizations so they can keep up the vital work they do in the community,” said Columbia CU President & CEO Lindsey Salvestrin. Lindsey presented checks to Amy Almond-Schmid of the Returning Veterans Project and Larry Smith, Bruce Evans, and Mike Burton of CMAC.
