A Message from the CEO – Member Appreciation
As we wrap up Member Appreciation Month, I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for being a valued member—placing your trust in Columbia Credit Union as your local community resource. This past month has been an incredible opportunity to celebrate and reflect on what makes Columbia Credit Union so special—our members.
Did you know that by simply doing your everyday banking with Columbia Credit Union, you essentially become a community philanthropist? Your deposits fuel local loans to your neighbors and “main street, not wall street” businesses. Choosing to deposit with Columbia CU also serves a greater good. We understand that for people to save and borrow wisely, they may need help from time to time beyond financial advice, like assistance around housing and food insecurity, or physical and mental health support. Our community grants in the past year alone created a combined impact of more than $7 million dollars.
Recently, it’s been gratifying to accept our 16th straight Best of Clark County accolade and to again receive the Portland Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Award. These recognitions belong to you—a community that’s been instrumental in Columbia Credit Union’s growth and success.
And by the way, we love hearing from you. Sharing reviews is a great way to send in feedback, tell a story, or just drop us a compliment. Longtime member Kathleen recently shared:

Thank you, Kathleen. We’re grateful for people like you. I’d encourage everyone to send in reviews— they mean so much to us.
As we move into the holiday season, know that Columbia Credit Union is here to support your financial wellness. Whether you’re thinking about year-end spending or looking ahead to new financial goals, we are ready to be your partner. Visit your favorite neighborhood location, chat with our member service team, or why not join us at a free workshop or seminar? From cybersecurity to social security, you have a friend in Columbia CU.
Thank you for being a Columbia Credit Union member. Where you bank truly matters.
